The Extra Large Cone Base Cover conceals light pole repairs made with our RTPRK or custom larger PRKs and defends against damage, debris, and vandals; to give the bases of larger straight and tapered light poles longer lives. Paintable, impact-resistant ABS plastic stands up to weather and over-irrigation to fight pole-base rust and provides a beautiful, uniform look. Shaped like a large cone with a flat top and an 18-inch bottom diameter, the easily installed cover fits a wide range of tapered round poles up to 11.5″ without a repair kit. The cover is simple to install, and Light Pole Systems will cut the included cap to fit any standard pole size. The cap can be cut in the field for unknown pole sizes. The cover ships and stores flat.
Originally designed to fit over Pole Repair Kits, the Extra Large Cone Base Covers are frequently being used without any repair kit to replace traditional base covers, provide additional protections, and add an architectural feature to light poles.
Once installed, theExtra Large Cone Base Cover provides an additional protection to the hand hole and copper theft, as well as keeping the pole base free from debris and water buildup. Just like a standard base cover, the Extra Large Cone Base Cover hides any pole hardware and increases public safety.
Future pole base and hand hole access is as simple as sliding the cover up the pole.
